Passed with no problem. It had been sitting about a year pretty much unused. Worked on some little things (mostly cosmetic) and got it back on the road. Had it inspected and it was either in the middle of or well below the middle of the acceptable ranges of the measured pollutants.
Thought that was fantastic for a 15 year old car (built 11/89). Still get around 27 mpg too.
Sorry to hear about the SPG. Donation is probably your best avenue. Worth much more as a tax deduction than what you can sell it for. Just my opinion.
