if stalling occurs when you apply brake pressure, it could be a leaking brake booster or poor connection between booster and intake manifold. if the booster, it needs to come out and be re-sealed at the front. this can be done by a brake repair shop. I believe all Saab boosters are permanently sealed and cant be opened without ruining them, but the front seal can be changed out.
after shutting off the car, wiggle the thick hose between booster and intake. you may hear vacuum escaping from the system. that's good and means the vacuum reservoir (right hand front fender well) is holding vacuum and the check valve is not shot. if no vacuum there, advise us.
