I use redline in my rebuilt 5spd transmission from Andrews of princeton (at their suggestion). Saab 900 transmission will never be pleasant to shift, but I find that redline gives it a decent feel. It is much much better than 10w30 in Minnesota cold mornings. The 1-2 shift becomes possible. Face reality, no-one buys a c900 for the quality of the shifts.
I believe Redline makes a heavy duty gear oil - I use their lighter weight transmission lubricant.
