Any turbo ECU from '89 to the end of the C900 line will work in your car - they're all LH 2.4. Now, if you can only get your hands on a non-turbo ECU from an '89 or '90 (and maybe '91 - I forget when they made the switch to LH 2.4.2 in the non-turbos), you can take the EPROM out of your ECU and swap it into the non-turbo ECU to keep the fuel mapping the same. There's not all that much difference in C900s using the LH 2.4 (with the exception of the '88 900S, which doesn't have the output for the upshift light.)
You can also use an ECU from an early '89 9000T.
I've had ECUs from '88 900S, '90 900S, '90 900T, '89 9000T in my 89 SPG. The fuel mapping in the 900S ECUs leans out a bit at the top end compared with the 900T, but it will work and drivability will be OK unless you're really, really pushing it.
