Search the BB under oil. Many feel that part synthetic is best. This is an all too common question for which there are no real answers. I am in a minority, as I am not afraid to use Mobil 1, but I use it out of necessity, because I travel to places that drop below minus 35degreesF. Mobil1 retains low viscosity to minus35F, so I can forget to plug in the warmer yet still start my car. I also have a new engine that does not leak. My suggestion? Castrol 5w30 in winter and 5w40 in the summer. You are not running a turbo, so you don't need the kind of protection us turbo people need. Others will take exception, and throw out many other oil names. They all have valid points, so read them. Then buy a semisynthetic that you can afford 3 times to 4 times per year. I use fram filters with the easy grip paint on the end so I can remove them easily. Others insist on the Saab OEM filters. Again, make sure you use a good filter with a built in valve that allows for internal blow off in case the filter gets clogged. I use a K&N air filter to allow me better breathing. It also allows me to remove and clean it myself, instead of buying a new throw-away air filter every time I need to change.
P.S. What ever happened to the O2 sensor?
