I think the 9-2X uses subaru part number 84227-264-00 (the subaru legacy nozzle, 30 degree fan aimed 18 degree up from the hood mounting surface). The forestor uses subaru part number 84226-264-00 (40 degree fan aimed 23.5 degree up from the hood mounting surface). Both parts fit the same mounting hole, so some modification of the base and springs of the nozzle would make it fit the C900 hole. But if you put the lower aim part (the legacy part) on the C900, the spray will hit the parked wiper blades. The aim of the these nozzles is not adjustable like it is in the bugeye types.
