omagosh!
I have 2 90 900s: one is a naturally aspirated 900S 5spd and the other is a turbo auto (hate the auto). I got home and did the "power to #87" test on the 900S (lo and behold) the right (pass side) fan went on! All along I thought the left fan was the main fan. So I went and checked the connector at the right fan and as I unclipped the plastic catch on the connector, the individual female connectors fell out and the little plastic shroud fell off. When I put the plastic shroud on the connector and clipped it closed then reconnected it to the fan terminal - wouldn't ya know - the fan works and everything is cool - literally.
But doesn't the temp sensor on the left top of the radiator tell the main fan relay to power the fan? I guess I could check but that makes sense.
I learn something everyday.
