Innovision wipers in snow....poor!

I recently put some new Innovision wipers on my Saab. Instead of having the mechanical arches biult-in for support, they use a strip of spring steel in the wiper that runs parallel to the windshield for pressure. They wipe around the curves of the Saab windshield. Due to their simple design and lack of arches, I assumed there would be no place for snow to build-up..WRONG!! The snow packs around the outside of the blade. With only the spring ssteel for pressure, a different problem occurs the wiper ends start bending the other way. The ends of my wipers wer 1" away from the windshield. Bottom line is I had to get out and bang the wipers against the windshield. I'm going back to Winter wipers. I don't reall care about the small spot the wiper misses anyway. (In NJ, they put an inspection sticker in this little blind spot)
