As eric says, not normal. As a closed system, there is no place to evaporate to. However, there is no such thing as a truly 'closed' system.
My guess - you have a few loose hose clamps. Assuming it's winter where you are, it's a good bet. The temperature swings between a cold morning and a hot engine tend to stretch the clamps a little. When the engine is cold and the system unpressurized, no leaks. As the system warms up, the coolant pressurizes, but the hoses and pipes don't expand all at the same rate. So a little coolant weeps out. Once everything is warm and fully expanded, it's snugged itself back up, and no leaks. That little weeping in the 'between' time evaporates before it leaks to the ground, so no puddles. Look around where hoses meet fittings for a whitish or greenish powder - the sign of dried coolant. Either way, take a nutdriver and with a cold engine, tighten up every hose clamp you can reach. I'll bet a few of them will easily take an extra half turn.
