If you want to destroy your manual tranny, Saab or not, do this...
1) Because you are in such a rush, force it into 1st gear while coasting to a stop sign at 25mph without matching the engine speed. 1st gear synchro will fail in no-time.
2)Don't bother to select a low forward gear before trying to shift into reverse. Just grind it in...it's ok.
3)Drive like you're in the Indy 500, as in, downshift superfast into 3rd on the highway to pass a car, without matching engine speed. Same result as #1.
4)Always slam it from 1st to 2nd with no pause in neutral while still cold.
5)Juice up your motor to about 400hp, redline in neutral, then dump the clutch the 1st, 2nd, or any gear for that matter. Make sure no loved ones are near by.
But, if ya wanna keep your tranny for 500000miles, don't do any of this stuff.
