My advice is go to a junkyard and get a perfect one out of a wreck, then you can experiment without fear on your two imperfect ones.
I looked at my spare and guess that you stick three jeweler screwdrivers into the notches at the back that are in line with your cracked tabs and use them to pry the green plastic back just enough to let the rear of the switch, with the contacts, come out. Then it's anyone's guess what lies further in. That beefy spring is probably going to want to come flying out.
Or a better approach might be, pry the green plastic up near the face; it has to be clipped to that somehow, but whether once locked on it ever wants to be unlatched is a good question. That green plastic seems brittle.
Before I got a few good ones from a junkyard I planned to cast new tabs on mine, filling the gap below the old one with a little paper poked in there to keep the epoxy from running down inside the works, pre-drilling a few tiny holes diagonally into the green plastic along either side of where the tab broke out, to key the repair to it, then making a dam with masking tape and filling the space with epoxy, later carving or filing it to approximate the shape of the missing tabs.
It wouldn't have any spring-in qualities but they aren't important if it jams into the dash and stops the switch from spinning.
