I'm of two minds on the oil pressure issue-

The first is that since the light flickers when you run the revs up, the oil pressure sender is probably reading somewhat right. You get lower pressure at low revs, higher at high revs. That would indicate that the sensor reads true. The only thought I have here is that the wire for the oil pressure sender fell off the sender, and is rubbing on ground somewhere. That gives a nice, solid light. When you rev the engine, the bit touching ground vibrates, and by bouncing up and down, the light dims. You should be praying this is what is happening.

The second is that if the oil pressure sensor is reading true, you wouldn't be able to drive 15 minutes with it on. The bottom end would have blown up within a few minutes and the turbo seized.

My first impulse is NOT TO DRIVE THE CAR. Sorry about the shouting. I wouldn't drive the car until I had verified that I had good oil pressure. So far you've done the 'expensive' oil pressure test - drive the car and see if the engine blows up.

First - make sure that the wire to the oil pressure sender is in place on the sender ,and that the wire insulation isn't damaged. If the wire is OK, I would then beg, borrow, buy, or steal an oil pressure gauge and plumb it into the oil pressure sender location. I would then verify the oil pressure - it should be about 30-40 psi at idle with a cold car, dropping down to about 10-15 with a totally warm engine. It should be well above 20 psi at 2K rpm.

If you keep driving the car, one of two things will happen - (1) the oil pressure is low, and the engine will sieze, but not until it makes lots of very nasty noises. (2) everything will be fine, because the sensor is reading wrong - a bad wire, something got stuck in the sensor, whatever.

The downside of #1 is pretty big. I'd check the pressure immediately.
