Ari, you are a genius at diagnosing from a distance. I was very nervous when I got back to my car and had 15 minutes to be somewhere 10 minutes away. I feared the worst but hoped for the best. And sure enough, the gods were shining on me. The wire for the oil pressure sender was detached and all I had to do was find it and reattach it to the sender. Problem solved.
I likely detached the wire by accident when I had removed the oil filter for better access to snaking my hand to where I could work a flexible shaft connected on one side to a 19 mm socket and on the other to a cordless drill as I worked patiently to thread and tighten the banjo bolt on the engine side of the turbo oil input line.
Your explanation of the wire grounding itself and then vibrating for intermitent ground was dead on. Thanks to you and everyone who weighed in and solved my challenge!
You came through for me.
Best regards,
Trevor
