Well, like many people i've had quite a few cars over the years but 15 years ago when i was sitting at my desk at 3am studying like hell i needed some robust motivation. I had chucked everything in (relationship/mortgage/career/posessions)and sent myself back to university as a mature-age student. I had a poster of a 1990 Navy blue 900t convertible from the dealer pasted to wall in front of me. Whenever things got tough i would look up and say that if i quit/wasn't clever enough/lazy I would never get my dream car. I couldnt afford one being a student but i promised myself that when things came good financially i would hunt around and get myself the best one i could find...That day arrived 5 years ago and i spent 6m looking for the right girl. I found her and her name was Helga...like me she had silver colouring (least i still had hair, i suppose!)and she was lovely. So after lots of love ( i still resist the notion that i am nuts for washing Helga 3 times a week)a manual gearbox transplant for the dysfunctional automatic, some gentle tweaking i have the raciest, most stylish, exciting girl around (least this biased author thinks so!:-) ). So amigo, like all affairs de amore it can be expensive, frustrating and at times one-sided but when things are good they are superb. Enjoy, and this BB is better than sliced bread, wonderful helpful people who share an intense passion...
