Hi Ben, By all means, put her in a 900. they're safe and reliable, but don't get her the nicest one you can find. 1 quick story to illustrate my point:
I'm dismantling a C900 right now that a woman bought because it was exactly like the one her deceased brother used to have. It WAS pristine. she gave it to her 16 year old son as his first car to drive until he could save enough money for a car he wanted (he had no interest in the pristine saab). In a snowstorm this winter he was trying to show-off with his friends in the car, and drove it off the road, into a tree and stonewall. Everyone was fine, but the car was totalled. Moral: Saabs are safe, and by all means put your child in one, but put them in one that has some "experience points" while your child gets her experience, too. Then, if she likes the car, upgrade when you feel she can handle it. Good luck, Jon
