Sorry, but picture taking time has come and gone. If I had more time I'd have done it. As far as interior shots - well that's not possible since the heart of the 900 tranny remains covered by the casing unless you take it completely apart. The only partly visible gears are 1st, reverse and 5th. As far as the wear on the box I replaced, it was mostly the pinion bearing, which is a known common problem with high milage 900's. What happens is that as it wears and loosens, it adds lateral play to the output shaft, at the end of which is the pinion gear which turns the differential crown gear. The lateral play creates increasing noise and vibration. Other signs of wear are finding bits of metal/teeth at the bottom of the case, in the oil or on the magnetic plug. The 88 box I replaced had over 200K miles on it. I'm sure there are some good parts still inside, but I'm not of mind to find them at the moment. More than likely I'm gonna drop it off at the scrap yard first chance. Be gone with it!
