my 93 non-turbo broke an intake cam and trashed the engine. At a stop light!
I can either junk the whole thing (most likely at this point) or buy a used so-called "good" engine from a specialist dismantler for $4-500 and stick it in.
reading the R&R description in Bentley, it sounds like a pretty involved procedure (much more than on the rear drivers I've changed engines on before). But the procedure is for a turbo engine.
