The fan switch isn't on the engine. It's in the upper left of the radiator. Sorta near where the small hose from the reservoir attaches to the radiator's left tank.
There's 2 wires under their rubber boots. Peel back the boots & short across those wires with a screwdriver. Key on, that should make the fans run. If it does, then you've just tested the remainder of the circuit so you can blame the switch itself.
If that doesn't make the fans run, post back & someone can walk you thru checking the timer relay or fuses or whatever else.
