I had a very difficult time with the Clutch pressure plate (I could not get the spacer tool in place) Maybe because I told my wife to depress the clutch instead of pumping... who knows! So I used hanger wire at first, with engine out. Using a crowbar I depressed three fingers at a time and inserted the spacer tool (VERY VERY DIFICULT). Hopefully the clutch hoses are all in place try pumping the clutch (have someone else help you) and maybe the spacer tool will fit.
And the Shift coupler (The bentley approach did not work for me, pin would not come out). Check this bb for Shift coupler... I used the removal of the 13mm nut (difficult to get to ... required a universal joint very short driver and many tiny turns to loosen the nut enough to remove) approach found on this bb.... anyway Good luck!
