I'm sort of in the same position myself--I could afford the payments on a new Saab but basicly choose not to. Since my wife works at home we really only need one car and although my intension is to have a car to commute with so I can keep the Saab Covertible ('93) in the garage, for the last 8 or 9 months the convertible has been our only car. And the amazing thing is how well it works as an only car. We somehow get everything we need into it, it's good in the snow, it just plain functions very well as a car. I'm thinking of another classic Saab 900 or maybe a 9000 if I run acrossed a nice one, but sometimes I wonder if I really need another car. The fact is, as my neighbor down the street has appearently found out, a Saab convertible can pretty much do it all.
