It might be that one of the rubber boots that connects the duct from the turbo to the intercooler or from the intercooler to the throttle body has a slit that opens up under boost or just has a loose hose clamp.
Another thing to look at is the rubber bushings that hold the vacuum nipples into the intake manifold and valve cover. After a decade or so, they deteriorate from heat and oil and shrink a bit. If you can pull the vacuum nipple out without much effort, it's time to replace the bushing. they're available at reasonable prices from site sponsors like sobstory.com and eEuroparts.com, to name two. in a pinch, they're availabe at less reasonable prices from the dealer, which is where I got the replacements for my '89.
