2nd update and fixed ( I think). I feel like a real dufuss! After checking everything 2x. swaping out good parts and stumping some of the best wrenches I know. It was fuse # 22. let me say that the fuse’s were the 1st thing that was checked. The fuses were verified a 2nd time by another person. The 10 amp fuse was blown but not completely destroyed. So it appeared to be intact. So with out fuse 22, you will have spark and but no tach. If you jump the wires to operate the fuel pump, the engine will start but you will still not have a tach and the alt light will be dimly lit. so lesson learned is do not let wire harness come into contact with a/c belt. And if it does then check your fuses. I’ll put the car back together and test to see if everything is back to normal….. so I imagine that if the fuse was not blown and the vehicle behaved the same way, it would be save to say that it could have been the ecu!?!?.. thanks for reading..
