You might want to bite the bullet and replace all of the vacuum hoses and the rubber bushings that hold the vacuum nipples into the intake manifold and valve cover. You'll drive yourself nuts chasing vacuum leaks. Get 15-20 feet of 3.5-mm silicone vacuum hose at $1 or so a foot from a speeed shop and get the bushings from a site sponsor. The valve cover gasket is also a dandy source for a vacuum leak.
The fact that it takes until partway into the green for the idle stabilizes makes me think that there's a physical heat-sensitive component - maybe an intake flange that expands and seals a gap when it warms up or maybe an O-ring on something like an injector that softens and expands a bit. Usually it only takes a couple of minutes for the ECU to kick the O2 sensor into the calculation and stabilize the idle if the AMM is bad. That doesn't rule out an AMM misadjustment or a dodgy rebuilt AMM.
Do a site search for "AMM adjustment" (without the quotes.) Swedecar gave some good advice for adjusting the AMM on LH 2.2 cars over the past couple of weeks.
How recent is your last tuneup? NGK plugs? Bosch cap & rotor? Bougicord plug wires? What's your timing set at?
