Inner tie rod ends...

there are ball joints on the inner end of the tie rod inside the rack and pinion bellows. I NEVER replace those...if one is bad just replace the entire rack assembly with a guaranteed for life rebuild. OTOH, tie rod ends are cheap, just make sure you get the full cast TRW ones (NOT the ones with a piece of sheet metal sealing the back side...full casting please) and buy them from a supplier like autozone or trak auto (I think they got bought be autozone but WTH) for a lifetime guarantee.
It really irritates me that companies like autozone can guarantee aftermarket TRW parts like this for life but Saab won't. Guess it's a business decision...like Saab give you the business! It's nice that GM bought Saab but I would have preferred Ford to have bought Saab. There's at least one Ford dealer in the DC/MD/VA area that guarantees service repairs for as long as you own your car! That's right, one brake job and that's it!!! Still, I hate driving a CrownVic even as a rental. Now if Ford were to put the supercharged GT engine in it.....
