I own a 1989 900s 16 valve with 27k on it. I got it form the original owner. It won't start all the time. If it does start it might run long enough for the fans to come on and then quit. Might restart, might not. An audible click comes from the left front of the car with the key left on after it dies. Sometimes it needs a litle throttle to get started and then dies. SOmetimes it just feels like it won't quite catch. I went to SWEDISH WRENCH for the piece on pulling the codes, but there is a typo. After it says "Now we can get down to pulling codes" in step one it says to ground pin three if it's the under hood connector or pin "BLANK" on the under seat connector. Which pin is it? Mine has a multi pin connector, but only four actual pins.1,2,9,10. ANyone know? I haven't gotten the Bentley book yet, so how do I tell if it's the AMM or the crank trigger? It won't start at all with the amm disconnected. Thanks for any and all help. Greg
