If the small line connected to the manifold has no place to get air it will come straight up the big PVC pipe connected to the plastic intake pipe which is connected to the AMM. What I'm trying to say is that there is no other place to draw air because the block is sealed except for that big PVC pipe.
I'm thinking about putting a check valve in that big pipe right next to the valve cover nipple, but I'm not sure thats a good idea. I'm not sure what effect that would have on seals. Right now the crank case is open to atmosphere through the main PVC line. So there is no vacuum in the block because air enters through the air filter goes through the AMM up the main pvc line to the small pvc line and then to the intake manifold.
The only place that unmetered air could enter is the oil filler cap. And after today that won't be happening. I made a gasket to go in there. I only had the plastic ring with the spring on the other side, no gasket in there to make a seal. So with the turbo spinning creating suction, the only place I could see air entering the block would be the oil filler tube.
