Save your thousands, man. For an extra 10-15 hp, shouldn't cost you much cash, but a lil elbow grease.

1) Tweak your APC (as joe98 mentioned)
2) Rip out that restrictive airbox and put a k&n cone on the end of your AMM (yeah yeah, hot engine air, we know)
3) Add that 3.0 fpr from a junkyard 900s (shouldn't be $5)

With that you should get your 15 hp as long as the car is in good tune (plugs, wires, dizzy cap n rotor etc)

Once she gets bored with that, hop over to the perf board for more. Take a look at crackin the APC open and doing the redbox apc mod (rated from the factory at 185 hp w/dist mod and fpr upgrade - no cat). Then do a search on the perf board for "retard stop" and mod your vacuum advance unit. For more, if you're savvy, add an IC fan (rad fan from a honda at the junkyard, wire it up to key hot).

I'd consider that a 'saabnet stage one' giving you maybe 180 +/- hp, depending on *several* variables...

If you're muffler is bad, get a Magnaflow muffler online (about 60-70 bucks) and have your local shop weld it in place if you don't have a welder. Labor won't be *that* terrible, you should be done with that, total, well under a hundred bucks. It'll be a lot less restrictive and give you some more good power (and less lag down low!) Don't be shocked at the high-dollar cat-back systems; the stock c900 exhaust at 2.25" piping is good for about 200hp or so (see the perf board for reference). Get a nice looking tip put on the end if your tailpipe is as rusty as mine was... ;-)

Most of all, have fun. And watch that transmission... I'm on #3!
