When making a left turn on a local expressway exit, I hear a soft and subtle drumming noise from the front end. It's a very quiet noise, not unlike running your fingernails across your old coruroy slacks. Happens only on left turns and only at speed where there are heavy side loads on the tire. Straight line performance is quiet.
I'm guessing wheel bearings? I'd be interested in opinions.
