A friend of mine tried to tell me he'd heard that the reverse opening hoods on the 900 were especially dangerous in accidents - that they can be pushed into the passenger space on impact with a larger, taller vehicle i.e. sport ute (instead of crumpling fully). does anyone have any anecdotal evidence to respond to this? is it nonsense, or valid concern?
