Can't hurt for me to try it again.. never know.. In the morning, I'll losen the pinch bolt and then make sure the shift rod and short stub coming from the trans are tight before tightening the bolt..
then if that doesn't work, I'll try losening the wing nuts and moving the assembly a hair forward if it will go..
I hope it's one of these things.. I'll post tomorrow and let everyone know.
hey.. silly question, but.. at the present time, I had to take the pin out of the shifter rod.. the one that is inside the rod for fifth and reverse.. I think something is wrong with it, so to be able to shift into all gears - I removed it.
is that pin really nessesary if I were to drive the car? or is it dangerous to try to drive with it removed?
