I store mine (87 900T convertible) in a barn with a false floor made of wood. This is great because it's not on the wet ground. Last winter I really didn't do anything other than cover it with a very good fitted cover. The barn has no electricity and only a small window but I put a solar powered trickle charger on the battery. I don't know how much good this did but I wanted to keep the battery in the car so I could drive it every once in a while when the snow melted and the salt was off the road. I probably drove it 4 or 5 times during the winter and everything worked great.
