It seems that 8536401 is the Bosch 013 relay. At least that's what I find in the location of the Saabs that have that part number.
The 013 have a diode between pin 85 and 86 (coil) and the 006 doesn't.
One reason why a manufacturer choose a relay with a diode is that at certain circumstances when a certain appliance is turned on it can back feed current through the wiring and they use that diode to stop the flow of current.
Sometimes they might use a 013 just because they have it on hand instead of the 006 even though it doesn't matter, diode or not.
If your car have the 013 (which the Saab part number indicates) I would change it with a 013 just to be on the safe side.
Many after market sources cross reference the Saab part number to the 006 Bosch relay as well but until it is proven beyond any doubt that it will work, I would stick with a 013 if that's what's in there.
