I wonder what's wrong with us? Having this much attachment to a car can't be healthy. Somtimes I feel like I'm living the movie Christine becasue any time something bad happens to my SAAB I feel it like it happened to me. Thats probably because I care enough make sure it gets fixed instead of scrapped, no matter how long it takes. Of course everybody has their limits to what they can fix or afford to fix, but its not only money, its like it sucks a part of your soul.
My SAAB is in such nice shape right now I think about getting rid of it because I couldn't bare to see anything bad happen to it, again. But every time I pass a car on the interstate like its a stationary object that worry gets pushed waaayyy down where it can do no more harm.
I know how hard it is to let go. Save her if you can but if you can't at least try and give others a chance at her before she soes to the graveyard. My local yard crushed all the SPGs and saved the base and turbos. I let them know about their mistake.
