Sorry , I didn't read your earlier post on this subject but I'll chime in anyway.
Don't forget that your thermostat hinders flow of coolant, on purpose. And, even with an electric pump running full blast until the thermostat opens and stays open, you aren't doing anything except circulating your heater and throttle body coolant and probably cavitating at the pump. When your thermostat opens unless you have airflow through the radiator the temp will still climb, again even with the pump running full blast, unless its a really cold day.
Today it was cold enough to make me consider putting a piece of carboard in front of the radiator to help keep the engine at normal operating temp.
If you are having problems you may want to try a good flushing and a cooler thermostat.
Of course, if you just want to indulge yourself with something trick then let us know how it turns out. I put an electric fan on my old 320i to free up a few ponies and because I thought it would be cool. Nothing wrong with that. Everyone needs a hobby.
