During the recent Rallye de Paris, the voltage in the rally car (1985 900T) would stay a nice 13.7 until I turned on the lights. Then it fell to 12. So yesterday, I decided to text grounds. Fire the car up, turn on the lights, perfect 13.7. Turn on all the driving lights, voltage drops a little to about 13. What gives? Is the alternator fading away during the event because of heat or does it just not like to work on a rally?
TIA
