In my experience, even if your O2 sensor was completely bad (or even disconected) you should still be able to get the car to idle reasonably well.
You've proably done this but . . . have you set the idle correctly? If it has been set too high it will idle properly cold but then get outside of the adjustment range of the AIC when hot 9and idle high). There are instructions for setting idle on the Townsend site.
