On the passenger side (starboard) there are a couple of possible leaks -- the power steering fluid, and engine oil. I forgot to look to see your post on whether it is an auto or manual trans.
Look at the head/block interface on the firewall side of the head. Directly below where the timing chains are enclosed -- that is an area prone to oil leaks. If there is engine oil in that area, then it is the head gasket. If the leak is above the head/block interface, then you have lucked out and it is the valve cover gasket.
If the PCV was not installed, positive pressure in the crankcase will blow oil out any point of opportunity.
The PCV should be placed so pressure cannot go in the direction of the valve cover. So, if you blow on the valve, it should not allow air into the valve cover. Put in the valve, and go to a carwash to clean off any oil that you can find on the engine. Then, run it for awhile and see if the new PCV has cured the oil leak situation. Maybe you will be lucky, and the oil will stay where it belongs.
