Sensor/s on the inboard side of the control unit towards firewall. First try to clean the contacts. You need to look at a wiring diagram and manual for info on whether the switch closes or opens when pressure reaches spec. If you are still stymied after direct power to pump, post a message to Swedecar. He is the best tech and knows the ABS system. He also is the one who posted the tricks to replace the pump with the control unit intact, using his special tool.
You should be able to power the pump directly from the relay socket. No pump hum with ignition on? When the relay sticks, usually the pump shuts off before it burns up, but I guess enough constant running and it could fail. I guess I was lucky to get the pump to fire with a whack to the relay. New relay, and cured.
