and the engine number can be used to determine the year of the block, along with other information, but my data only goes up to 1987 or so. Look for the engine number on the driver side, under the intake, forward the car, on a machined flat > stamped into the block. Last I recall looking for the number on my 86T is wasn't easy to see with all the stuff in the way. Post the number if you can find it.
