If you are trying to get the motor running again, I would get a new timing chain tensioner...sounds like you need one anyway...check and recheck the mechanical crank/cam timing, since it seems like you jumped time and then try running the motor. If it runs OK then you're OK. If it runs bad, do a compression check to see if a cylinder is running low compression. If the compression is good, then recheck the mechanical crank/cam timing again to be sure you are not a tooth offset and are trying to compensate too much with the electrical timing with the distibutor. If this is a dead end, then at least you know what cylinder has been damaged. Please tell us how you make out and we'll all be more knowledgable in the future. Thanks
