There is no such thing as a difficult job. Some just take longer than others. If you can use a wrench, and tie your shoes, you can change an engine. It's all mental. Seriously. Is anyone here thinking about tackling the "gauge cluster" job? Just think about it this way. You disconnect 1 wire, then do it a hundred times more. Engine pull? 3 bolts for the mounts and a few wires. Thats it.
When I first tried to pull my engine I thought it was going to be pure hell. Then I got myself in the mindset that it's just a few dozen small, simple jobs all piled into 1 big job.
Just so you know, I'm not a mechanic. I own a 200 piece socket set and a few other tools. I just clear my head, take my time and take it 1 step at a time, and don't look at the whole huge picture.
Of course, this site is invaluble when you do happen to get stuck.
