If you are going through that many switches, check to be sure it is not getting hammered by the brake pedal arm. You should not use the switch as the upper stop for the pedal travel. Actually, there should be some free play in the switch button when the pedal is not depressed. One other thing to check is the alignment of the switch actuator to the area it hits on the lever. Center it up nicely.
