KT, Just FYI, any head that's more than about 0.004" out has been overheated. That's the only thing that causes them to be warped. Of course all that matters is that it is fixable within $$$$ reason. When you get the head back do that cam binding test procedure. I've seen heads come back from machine shops supposedly rebuilt and you couldn't turn one or both of the cams AT ALL once all 5 caps were tightened (with the lifters out). (Crossed those guys off the list!) Also, some heads are so bent that (lifters out) you can just lay the cam in the journals and, placing a finger at each end of the cam, rock the ends up and down several thousandths as it balances on the center journal:( Cheers.
