I think one from there would be okay.... my thinking on it, though: the original switch which came in my SPG when I bought it in '86 lasted twelve years, the first aftermarket switch for about half price lasted 3 years and the second aftermarket switch lasted 6 months. A genuine SAAB switch from a dealer costs about twice as much as aftermarket but it's not much considering the longevity. Also, for me anyway, it's kind of hassle to replace. It seems impossible to me to replace without removing the lower dash knee facia. I also removed the driver's seat cause I'm old and don't bend very well anymore. With the lower dash and seat out of the car, it's a piece of cake to install the switch. The thought of having to go through replacing the switch again in a few months convinced me to go with genuine SAAB.
