So, I’ve put a bit of work into this car (86' 900 16T) and it's performed pretty well thanks to this board. My wife has made this car her daily driver and the one day I decide to pack up the family and go for a drive after work the car dies about 4 miles from home(luckily). I was able to restart it a couple of times and it would run for a minute and then die again. In the times that it would run, as I was under the hood I could hear a very loud clicking sound upon throttle coming from the front of the engine. I used to here that sound when I messed with the cruise control, it would clickity-click a few times and then stop. But this was a non-stop clicking when throttle was applied. Long story short, The car won't start now. The car has been driven for a while with one of the fuel pumps making a constant hissing sound. I thought that it was the pre pump because I have had that 1/4 tank problem. The car was 3/4ths full when this happened. I thought that the main pump had gone out but I applied voltage to it and it runs. I cracked the fuel line and was sprayed with fuel...maybe it's a spark issue or a relay.
What should I be looking for? And what is that clicking sound, it's not coming from the head?

I appreciate any help.
