Could be the coil burned up - or something else did. If the car if off, there isn't anything that should be clicking short of maybe the exhaust cooling down.

I have never had it happen, either, but strangely, I known of two '92 900s that have had it happen. One is currently in my driveway with a replacement Autozone coil, and the other is parked in a driveway a few blocks from my house because the owner won't pay for a new one...

The ICU is on the driver's side fender. It's a small, squareish silver & block box with a 7-pin connector mounted to an aluminum heatsink. The ignition ECU (EZK box) is where the APC box would be on a turbo Saab and the fuel injection ECU is in the passenger side footwell on the right side. On an '89+ car, it's a bit of a pain to get to...
