Hey all. This is a message from my father who is having trouble with the abs and dash brake-light on his 91T convertible. Since I've never had a 900 new enough to enjoy ABS, this is a bit confusing, but maybe some of you with more experience can puzzle things out.

Both relays seem to be working properly and when I put in both 30 amp fuses they don’t burn but when I put in the 10 amp fuse, one of the 30 amp fuses immediately pops. If I leave the 30 amp fuse blown and the 10 amp fuse inserted, the high pressure ABS pumps works and the brake light goes off. The system seems to function like regularly disk brakes (no hard pedal). On one occasion when we drove it 4 miles at 55mph all four brake hubs were hot like the calipers were dragging.

On the next trip out the left rear brakes seemed to be hot. The computer for the ABS system is located under the rear seat and I haven’t checked there yet. Whatever the 10 amp fuse activates, seems to be the problem in blowing the 30 amp fuse. The schematic I have in your book (bentley)shows three 30 amp fuses but the fuse holder only has two and I haven’t located the 10 amp circuit yet, but the fuses and relays, according to the cover plate, seem to be in the right place.

When the 10 amp fuse is in place and the red light brake light is off, it seems to brake normally. But I’ve never gotten the ABS warning light to go off. I have not checked the wiring for the wheel sensors themselves since Jeremy put the new calipers on. Hope this is confusing enough.
