Thanks for the responses.
I cleaned the AIC, it seems to work fine. The stumbling happens now either at idle or when accelerating. The Hall sensor plastic conenction is busted and a precious owner had wire-tied it in place. The outside is wiggly but no matter how much I move it, I can't duplicate the hesitation.
The temp sensor's pretty new and it checks out OK. I don't know about the TPS yet, will check that too if it doesn't rain.
Oh - the hesitation seems to get worse when the car's warm. It does it rarely when not warmed up. I listened at the fuel pump to hear what it was doing when the engine stumbled but I didn't hear any difference in the fuel pump noise (just a slight buzz).
I took this picture though of my exhaust -- thought it was a bit too visible for being 55-60 degrees out. I also made a little movie of it since the pictures didn't come out so great.
