I used Bars headgasket sealer to "fix" a timing cover leak.
It worked for a bit, but I had a near overheat (not to the red) so I just did a headgasket. It's as on it's last leg, so it was a good idea before the GA summer.
Anyway - I found some of the sealer in one of the coolant passages. Almost completely blocked it and it was #3 which was plugged. #1 was the one that was about to leak.
I've flushed a few times but I'm sure it made a mess of the heater core and radiator.
The ex man is a piece of cake so go ahead and follow Sweedcars advise on the R&R.
