Looks like my fuel sender may have died. All of a sudden the fuel gauge level has dropped to zero and the low-fuel warning light does not come on. It as if someone cut the wires to the entire unit; there is definitely at least 3/4 a tank of gas.
It looks like the fuel senders for '83-'88 900s are not in production right now. Anyone know someone who might have a new one in stock?
Also, I've dug out my multimeter and Bentley manual. Is there any quick way for me to make sure that it isn't the actual gauge in the dash that has failed?
thanks!
